According to China's registry, 1 million '.cn' domain registrations were made between 1st September 2007 and 1st October 2007 totalling the domain registration for '.cn' to 7.1 million.
As far as the country code registrations are concerned, German stands on the top with 11.1 million '.de' registrations after which China stands at the second position.

Depreciation of Dollar and Its Impact on Translation
Dollar has been growing weaker and has lost 18% of its value against Euro. This simply means that the cost of translations into Western European languages paid by the US companies has gone up in the same rate. On the other hand, translations into English done by American Translators for European Language Service Providers has become cheapers.
Google Replaces Systran
Google replaced the languages that Systran translated, in favor of its in-house statistical machine translation engine.
The statistical machine translation engine previously has won the prestigious NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) Machine Translation Evaluation in 2005.
